OpenPandemic COVID-19 on BOINC

Good morning to all,

today, the World Community Grid project has just sent a newsletter saying that the OpenPandemic is going to support a set of researches about the infamous spike protein all of us unfortunately know:

As other WCG projects, this is going to be accessible through various distributed computation platforms

Which is the status of BOINC under Haiku? I think we’ve a very outdated port for it. Perhaps it could be a meaningful moment to rerun it and give our contrib?

This is a brilliant project I did not know of and seems urgent & important.
Much better use of computer power than streaming music or videos.
