I’ve bought 3 x VisionFive 2 Lite, 8GB with WiFi and 64GB eMMC’s on the recent Kickstarter, and I’d like to offer one ot two of the boards to Haiku RISC-V developers with the intention of getting Haiku up and running on these boards.
You can keep the board afterwards, I don’t want them back, but I’d like a set of follow along instructions on getting Haiku up and running on the board, and/or an image that will work with them.
If anyone is interested please message me with a link to some of your existing RISC-V PR’s/MR’s/patches to the Haiku code base so I can be sure I’m sending the board to someone who can achieve this.
No, I’m not a bot. I’m a life long BeOS user who was very active on the Haiku very early on, before it was even called Haiku. If you search the code for my last name you’ll find it in various places
That “you are not a bot” is not by me, it is the anubis anti ai scrapper thing on cgit plus the forum software fetching a “smart” link title instead of just displaying the link, sorry about that.
I’ve got the VF2 board too, but I can’t get Haiku working on it. The instructions are spread about between multiple threads and unclear (to me!).
I know you’re busy, but if you want one and are able to produce a image that can be used for it easily, I’ll happily send you one. I think these will be great little RISC-V devices for Haiku.
