I noticed an incomplete conversion of Notepad++ to Mac and Linux from Windows called Notepad Next. It uses QtCreator as its development environment. Has anybody tried it on Haiku yet? I did a search for “notepad” on the Haikuports search and Vim was all that showed up.
Great. I used Notepad++ quite extensively on Windows and loved it. If it´s stable it might become my text editor on Linux, now that Atom has been abandoned. On Haiku I´m quite happy with Koder, though.

You might want to give a try at notepadqq that is already available.
