Not sure if this has been answered, but is there a functioning word processor for Haiku OS?

Problem solved!

I installed the ThinkFree Office package via pkgman (instead of dropping in home/config/packages); and worked perfectly.

The above linked hpkg somewhat works in Haiku nightly (hrev47807), thanks.
It does not appear to register mime types, and seems that it does use a horrible font visualization. Anybody else have this problem?

Also while it works with the radeon accelerant, it does not with the intel_extreme or vesa. I do not know why.

It is working great here, with hrev47853 and intel_extreme - I don’t have either of those problems! It does not work in home/config/packages though, you must use system/packages.

It’s awesome - a fully featured office suite for haiku!
