Personally, I think that having a new category to discuss ‘AI’-assisted software might be beneficial in at least two ways.

It might become a useful place for discussing both the pros and cons of such software made for Haiku, with the participation of both ‘AI’ boosters and ‘AI’ haters, so that there will at least be the possibility of critical discussion about the potential issues in such code, and the subsequent improvement of shortcomings and removal of suspected stolen code so that the software will be safe for users.

It will allow people wishing not to see potentially vigorous discussions taking place on the topic of ‘AI’-assisted software to simply not click on threads in that category. After all, vigorous discussion can be rather draining.
