When UEFI is ready, it’s time to make some specials a BooT Partiton in new or enhanted BEFS file system. What do you say?
The boot partition has to be read by the efi primarily. The spec mandates support for fat32 for desktop and fat16 for thumb drives.
BFS is unlikely to be supported by any efi firmware for reading, and we don’t need it there either, dropping the bootloader file there is the maximum extent Haiku needs to concern itself with the efi boot partition.
