Mining cripto with this OS

Hello. Ok. New user here. I like the way Haiku responds Very nice. My Q is how to install software with in this OS. Do i need to mount the file. I’m very much a winblows user and have learned to reove a lot of Bloat software from it and help it function better for my use.

I’d like to in stall Haiku on different systems but wouldl ike to know how to install other software as well I just need to dig around I guess. Currently I’m running P4 3.6 Ghz with 4 G ram runs very well.

Have a look at the User Guide, especially “HaikuDepot” under “Applications”.

With regard to crypto mining, Haiku isn’t well suited, I’d say. Not sure if any apps for that have even been ported, but I believe today there are not many nuggets to find without hardware-acceleration using GPUs and whatnot.
No such drivers exist for Haiku.
