It’s looks good. I guess, you’re doing this for fun and learning.
Otherwise, at some point, you will have to use Haiku to test it. So, why not use CatKeysEditor directly? Though, even that is of little use lately, most native apps are translatable on PolyGlot and Haiku strings are on Pootle.
