The only thing I change is that instead of the deaeresis being ’ I made it ". Now everytime I reboot the control keys gets switched around and dearesis returns to '. I’m on the stable release 64bit, no new updates. It only happens when I change the dearesis, or however you spelled it, if I change my control, command, etcetera keys, nothing changes on reboot.
Not making this a bug report yet, because I don’t know why this happens. Might aswell be my own problem.
Can you compare and check the configuration file before and after when problem occurs?
Sorry for answering late, but it seems I should’ve read the user guide before making a post. I didn’t save the keymap and assumed “(current)” was the one I was modifying and that it would be saved. It was just me being stupid.
FWIW, I don’t have to save anything when making changes in the Keymap preferences. I changed Diaeresis to " and changed my command key to Windows CTRL. Rebooted. Keymap still shows that changed setting.
