After USB key is unmounted, and I removed it physically also, the kernel panic fires.
It doesn’t matter if it is formatted as FAT32, EXFAT or NTFS.
I am using last revision hrev59956
I’m trying to figure out why you posted this in this specific section of the forum instead of on Haiku bug tracker… Do you consider that it is up to USB keys manufacturers to make drivers to fix this? I’m kidding but you should report that in the right place.
It seems that the file system isn’t fully unmounted before you remove the key, perhaps some leftover in cache?
