I am using an Intel® NUC Kit NUC6i3SYH.
Ethernet is working fine, but wifi is not not recognized. It is using an Intel 8260 and is supported in freebsd by the iwm-driver (iwm8000).
Any ideas if the haiku driver can make this chipset work?
I am using the nightly build (and keeping it updated)
Refering to this, it seems that corresponding Haiku driver is idualwifi7260.
Did you install firmwares? Unfortunately, due to licenses, you have to do it manually.
Some are experiencing problems with this driver, for others it is working fine, you may have to fill a ticket. If this the case, check if the bug is already known and provide as much informations as you can. (syslog, result of listdev or even infos given by another OS…)
Firmware install required for some selected old cards, this is however pretty new, so (afaik) they arent needed. The driver contains the firmwares for newer cards.
