Input_server progress

I notice that Korlis checkins on the input_server mentioned something like “R5 app_server communication” - does this mean that the input_server in the tree is able to talk to the app_server in R5 and use the R5 keyboard/mouse input add-ons? And what is the status of the keyboard and mouse drivers in the tree?

I’m currently using a system where virtually every component is an OBOS or other replacement - only Be drivers left are the VESA graphics, eepro driver, keyboard and mouse. It’d be nice to knock more off that list.

I did replace the files in bin ones but the system newer was the same so i stoped :slight_smile:

what have you replaced? (exept pref and app). What files are not good to replace?

I haven’t replaced anything yet as I’m waiting for the build factory to reseed todays changes…
However I assume you mean system-wide. Net Kit, like the instructions given on the forums here, media kit (my instructions are here: http://wiki.bebits.com/page/UsingOpenBeOSMediaKit , will post them to the forums as well), screen_saver kit (not totally stable), and some other random stuff. Print kit, I think.
