Yes, I tried the gtk3 widget demo application before, this one looked good when Iceweasel did not.

I think I had something similar in the past. Installing epiphany (or most likely one of its dependencies) fixed it somehow.
Try pkgman install epiphany

Latest update this morning doesnât show anything, and typing in the address field doesnât seem to send me to the page? (R1B5 64bit)
It works fine for me on the nightly build (Iâm writing this using iceweasel). I need more information.
- Run it from the terminal and save the logs
- What happens when the window is resized?
- Try setting the environment variable export HAIWAY_FRAMERATE_LIMIT=disabled and run Iceweasel from the terminal.

In syslog nothing usefull appears:

It looks like Icewesel canât launch a child process for the tab. This is likely because youâre running Beta5. I built the binary package on the latest version (because Firefox doesnât build at all on Beta5). To figure out whatâs missing, you need to look in the syslog â there should be a lot of messages there about missing symbols in the XPCOM library when launching the child process.

No, thatâs normal. Firefox (iceweasel) tries to dynamically load various optional libraries for different platform backends. It also selects the ffmpeg version, for example, in the same way.
On Beta5 I have the same issue as Begasus, just blank page. I found If I selected new tab that I could edit settings and add menubar. It would not connect though to the internet, and it would not allow to select extensions.
After deleting the Mozilla settings, I reinstalled the earlier version of Iceweasel (version 146), and created a new profile along with choosing a theme and adding ublock. I then uninstalled the old iceweasel package, and installed the new version. I did have the modified menubar along with the theme and ublock. However, it would not connect to the internet, and I could not look at ublock data when I clicked on the icon.
@3dEyes maybe disable this at haikuports so others donât run into the same problems with it, the package is still upstream so people running nightly can install it from there.
Iâm happy to test what ever needs to be done to get this working on beta5 though.

Beta outdated, Why you use it?
Maybe because of these things? 
This package was created on nightly, buildmasters still use beta5 also (and if it canât be build on beta5 it would fail on buildmasters also).
I rebuilt it using last yearâs Haiku revision, which was used to build previous working builds. This didnât solve the problem. So thatâs not the issue.

I think I found the cause of the problem: beta5 doesnât have SOCK_CLOEXEC and SOCK_NONBLOCK. Iâll make a test build now
