IceWeasel Issue

IceWeasel is driving me crazy. Pages won’t load on their own when I enter an URL until I click on something else like the deskbar. Anyone else having these issues? It’s almost as if the browser is frozen until I click on something outside of the browser. Libre Wolf is working just fine. . .

I deleted my Mozilla directory and also uninstalled IceWeasel and installed the ESR version and it still had the same issue.

It sounds like what happened when I installed the latest version, on a Haiku nightly revision that was a little too old. (I also may have installed something in the wrong order or something, because I had to update “nss” before it would run at all.)

After I rebuilt to hrev 59048, it works now.

You think it’s unusable? I watched a couple videos that way. Click out when it freezes, click back in when it freezes, … it did get kind of old. What’s really awkward is when it stalls when you’re trying to highlight something, and when you click back in it undoes that.

Getting the same thing here, watching videos freezes and switching Workspace brings it up again, I don’t have a usual setup (read experimental), so I thought this was something on my end, not a big deal so far (for me).

This problem isn’t browser-related, it’s a wayland-server issue. After updating to the latest Haiku revision, it’s almost completely gone.

I’ll just use Libre Wolf Lol. It was driving me nuts having to click on something else when it would freeze up. I forgot, there was a Wayland update recently. Unusable was a bit harsh, more like frustrating trying to figure it out.
