NuBus was gone in a very short period of time. The highest memory any NuBus machine can support is 136MB, and the fastest processor 110Mhz. I don’t think there’s any chance of that being supported!
I think the very first PowerPC 601 boxes had Nubus. 7100, 8100 and 9100. The 6100 only had a PDS slot I believe. The x200 had PCI, but soldered 601 CPU. The 7500 came with a 601 on a daughter card (I have one of these) but with a regular 604 card it supports BeOS. The 7x00 numbering was weird though.
it would be interesting to see this boot on old world Macs too. Dingus emulates them - is that what you target?
Once it’s going on new world, I’m definitely focusing attention on old world to see what’s possible
With all this PPC talk, are you guys working on any Adaptec SCSI drivers at all? Because I was about to start on some.

Nope. 6100 and 8100 support up to 264 MB or RAM (someone claimed 7100 can be reworked to support that amount too), and WGS 9150 supports up to 520 MB. And with a G3 upgrade card the CPU can go up to 500MHz.
I actually have some upgraded machines like this on hand to test on

I have a G4 Mac Mini, would it likely work on that?
Old world I now have, Umax C500 with a 603, 7500 with a 604e processor card, and my venerable 9500 with a stock 604 multiprocessor card. Everything is 180Mhz, though they are all going to have different performance. I also have the 601 processor card for the 7500. I have a G3 Wallstreet laptop too.
if you need anything testing let me know. Everything bar the Wallstreet is easily accessible and the 7500 has a BlueSCSI and so any image that boots on a Dingus would probably also boot.
is your Git repo accessible or are you going to provide images when you get farther along in the dev?
Another project - get classic BeOS to boot on new world hardware. Do you have and skills files for all this work that might help with the new world boot process? Or anything in general skill wise that might be relevant.
