I am trying to boot but the White screen doesn't allow to me

Hello, when I try the boot the white screen appear slowly. I tried the safe mod but it doesn’t work. What can I do? This is the white screen.

My system is:
İntel pentium M 1.70Ghz
2x256 MB Ram

That does not look like a KDL to me. Do the Icons appear at boot?

if so please try failsafe graphics.

I don’t khow what is KDL.

I selected failsafe graphics in safe mod options, but nothing changed.

KDL means “Kernel debug land”
This is also a white screen, but only filling half the screen initially and with black text. As there is no text I assume it isn’t that.

But I have heard people refer to it as a white screen before, hence my remark.

  • Are you using the 32-bit installer? The Pentium M won’t handle 64 bits. It is a single-core 32-bit processor, right on the bottom end of what Haiku can support.
  • Are you booting from a CD or USB stick or have you already installed to the hard drive and you can’t boot from that?
  • Do you have a separate graphics card or does this computer just use Intel integrated graphics?

Sorry if those seem to be silly questions, but we just need to establish a baseline here,

I tried the 64 bit version. But after the 2-3 seconds, white screen was over and a text with black background said “this machine don’t support 64 bit.”. And now I am trying with 32 bit version.

I am booting with USB.

My gpu is İntel 82852/ 55 graphics controller

Still I need your helps. Thank you.

Okay, you say that you have already tried fail-safe graphics, so I imagine you know how to get to this screen.

Enable all those options. If it boots then you can systematically start disabling them one at a time to see which one was the problem. Once you know the combination that will work you can make that permanent by editing the kernel setup file.

If it still doesn’t boot, there may be something weird in your BIOS setup.

Unfortunality it didn’t work this time too. Before the some months I setted up XP and it is running now. So, I don’t know what is the problem but I think it is not general. Thank you for your helps again.
