Hi all,
Here’s yet another “new” app for the nebula users out there…
Haiku SDL2 Audio/Video Streamer with nebula opengl support.
In additon to mpv, vlc, MediaPlayer, et al, here’s…
hTV
- hTV plays everyting mpv can handle but is hardwired to support opengl and nebula opengl.
- Has OSD support unlike the regular mpv.
- Supports “Open With” once you set hTV as preferred in FileTypes, any support media file will open with hTV, unlike mpv.
- Hardcoded in a 5% baseline pitch increase to fix audio lag with certain streams. If you notice the audio is out of pitch because of this you can use the “[ ]” hotkeys to decrease/increase the pitch.
Download: hTV-1.0.2-1-x86_64.hpkg
- Requires patched mpv to play and patched mpv_devel to build
– mpv-0.41.0-3-x86_64.hpkg
– mpv_devel-0.41.0-3-x86_64.hpkg
-
In addition to the patched MPV, hTV also requires:
-
Haiku Nightly, a Turing+ GPU supported Nvidia card, libglvnd-1.7.0-4-x86_64.hpkg and nebula-0.0.2-1.x86_64.hpkg.
