How use chromium for Haiku?

Help esterday. I wanna try Chromium for Haiku, but the GN doesn’t support for haiku and the store has not installer .

I don’t believe anyone has ported Chromium over to Haiku yet. Big project and with Firefox and its derivatives working now, maybe someone will dedicate the time. I know it has been mentioned but it is a large base and would need work as those that worked on Firefox can attest.

Chromium 134

cool I will look at it down the wire. Thanks for the link

Nice work porting Qt6WebEngine! Kaze browser on the sites that I’ve visited thus far has rendered the sites very well.

Hmm .. maybe someone worked on Brave as well ?

I’m not interested in pure Chrome, and do not know Kaze, but its name can be favourable for me - I think I chek it -

:cowboy_hat_face:

I could install KAZE browser preview1 on Haiku x86_64 R1/beta6 - hrev59886+79 - the download caused more trouble than installation, as Floorp and Webpositive has same issue in R1B6 that was experienced in an earlier period of R1B5 when file upload just crashed both browsers. In nightly it is just does not happen any longer. And also Debugger crashes meanwhile report is still saving about Floorp issue.
