How to use medo and ultradv?

so i wanted to do some basic video editing. i found medo and ultradv as video editors. but i honestly dont know how to begin using medo. i also cant find documentation for it so can help?

there is also other software like virtualbelive and clockwerk. are these 32 bit only?

For easy editing use MEDO.
mpg,mp4,mp3…

For .avi use Avidemuxer.

The Apps you mentioned are incomplete instable!

EDIT: Try OpenShot Video Editor in HaikuDepot.
OpenShot 4.1 Not! available yet!

Add media source (or drag and drop). Then drag media from source to timeline. Or drag from disk to timeline, it will auto add to source. Source can be video, audio, images etc. hover mouse at edges to trim. Alternatively, when you select a source, in the right window adjust left/right clup positions, then drag drop to timeline. Trim, edges, add effects with drag drop. All video editors work similarly, Medo is similar to iMovie on Mac OSX.

Edit: I missed to mention drag’n drop.
It is just a pity, until now, seems not much developer try to improve the great working app its appearance.

Real world interferance. I wanted something for myself and it exactly satisfied my use case. There was a Haiku memory allocator bug introduced in 2023 and Medo was unusable until 3-4 months ago where i found the root cause, emailed waddlesplash and he committed a fix in 24 hours, now its useable again.

But again, real world interferance. Lost my business, moved continents, building a house, now working on Eternity: https://youtu.be/gLoVFvoXDew?si=8vlsdT1lRtM0Oskg

and yes, runs at 0.3fps on Haiku Vesa. By the time I finish that, someone would have used Claude to get AMD vilkan drivers, so 200fps.
