I’m afraid the only way is to remove all replicants from the Desktop by deleting /boot/home/config/settings/Tracker/tracker_shelf and killing the Tracker e.g. with ProcessController.
Perhaps with Kottan one should be able to remove only the misbehaving replicant without purging all of them?

Looks like a simple utility that could be bundle and help lot of people. Is there a licence problem or known bugs that prevent that?

I appears Kottan can be used to change the values of flattened BMessages but not remove whole entries.
Repliman is also hosted at HaikuArchives. A while back I contacted the original author, “kumo”, for License clarification · Issue #5 · HaikuArchives/Repliman · GitHub .
I wanted to work on the app a bit, because it IIRC didn’t work completely (I forget the details…), but haven’t found time yet…

Yes that’s correct, At the moment it can only edit existing entries, not remove or create new ones. This would indeed be very useful and has been already requested a few times. The problem is: I started to completely rework Kottan’s message handling engine because it was implemented quite messy, mainly because it started as a small testing tool to get aquainted with BMessage’s flattening capabilities and evolved from there. So, long story short, I want to finish that first before I add new features.
As always, no promises on a timeframe but I definitely want to add these features.

I don’t really understand what the question is here, but since the handle thing is circled, if you want to remove those, click on the Deskbar and un-check “Show replicants”.
That option should probably be renamed, in case people think it will hide the actual replicants and not just the handle.
This topic is on how TaskManager doesn’t show Replicants’ handles at all. An application bug.
