I have the doubts of what have I badly done to not reaching the bootscreen section of the Haiku installer. I’ve used the boot disc and the installer disc from the latest nightly build for PPC arch.
Somebodu help me, please. :*(

Hello,
Unfortunately the PowerPC version of Haiku does not boot yet. There is a lot of work required before we can turn it into something actually usable, and the hardware is not common enough to motivate enough of our developpers to work on that.
I doubt Haiku will ever be ported to PPC platform, unfortunately. Certainly if people from PowerPC community wouldn’t help out. Even the main x86 version development is painfully slow, but that’s understandable with only a handful of part-time developers some of whom don’t even run Haiku on real hardware anymore (virtualbox-running traitors you know who you are ;)).
The ever growing ARM platform is more promising at this point for Haiku, but arm-port effectively abandoned now due to lack of manpower and resources. Haiku on ARM needs it’s own dedicated team of part-time devs or even better full-time ones working under contracts for big and critical stuff.
Personally I’d be happy to see Haiku running on PPC and ARM devices alongside x86 and x86_64. If only more people would actually help and commit.
PulkoMandy (who just posted a comment above) and a few dedicated members of the user community do run Haiku on real hardware. Not everyone uses a VM.
