how can i enlarge an existing image of haiku? (qemu version)
i found somewhere a command how to combine 2 images for qemu, but in haiku the image still was the same size, although the imagefile was bigger…
somehow its useless to try on testing haiku with that limited space (about 20MB free space on nightly build)
I believe the nightly images on haiku-files.org are now 250MB in size; at least the VMware images are. Have you tried those?
oh that would be nice.
vmware i rarely use…
but i got a version of BeOS personal max to run on vmware, but mouse/grafik don’t work fine…
well i googled and i found a nice trick…
i use 2 haiku images in qemu and delete files of the non root in haiku, so i have a lot of space ^^
Recently I found that BeOS Max V4b1 runs very well in VMWare Player 2.x - and really poorly in VMWare Server 1.x… I suggest trying it again in VMWare Player 2.x and you may find that it runs quite well.
