How can I change Screen/Display Resolution

I have renewed ThinkPad X390 (Intel i5 8365U-8core, Intel UHD), I say why not after long time not test Haiku again? I boot EFI but there is only native resolution 1920x1080, and I try to find is there posible to switch to lower resolution, 1366x768, or 1280x720 with UEFI. I know Haiku doesnt have proper Hidpi scalling. pls help.

Haiku does have proper HiDPI scaling, and while there are still some bugs in it,it will most likely give you better results than using a lower resolution, which will make everything unsharp.
To make use of it,open Appearance preferences and increase all 4 font sizes, then reboot to make sure the change takes effect in every part of the UI.
If you really want a lower screen resolution, look if your device still supports BIOS booting (often also called Legacy Mode,Compatibility Mode or CSM).
The VESA graphics driver used with BIOS booting allows you to change the screen resolution, while the Framebuffer driver used with UEFI does not support that.

thanks its better. i try up to 20 all 4 font settings.

thinkpad x390, wifi work, sound work, trackpoint work, touchpad work, i can say i have very good experience with haiku on x390.

IIRC, some drivers are allowing to change resolution with EFI. With the default driver, you have to select a resolution before framebuffer creation and so to change it by entering bootloader which is not convenient. Though, once you found the right one, you don’t need to change so often.
