Help with discord on chat-o-matic

ok so i kind of need discord for some work im doing rn

so i am trying to use chat-o-matic for that. i installed it and purple_discord for discord functionality. after putting in my account details and creating one nothing happens

im stuck on the screen where its telling me no accounts are setup, and commands dont work. so i deleted the account and tried making a new one. that didnt show the same account details screen, and caused it to crash. so i restarted and created a new account which didnt work

can you guys help me on how to use discord here? do i need to enter my email? because there is no email bar on the account creation box

C-O-M hasn’t seen love in a long time, maybe you could check out abaddon which is also available in the depot?

i found out why i couldnt log in

for the username field in chat-o-matic you must enter your discord email. the discord account name must go in the account field

after this chat-o-matic may request authentication. so then you may use your discord auth token

although i recommend you use abaddon, install a new browser, or run discord in a VM. as for me i quit discord due to my mental health

(use this as reference because chat-o-matic is the only libpurple client on haiku)
