Hi there, YoGiB33rr. Welcome to the club!

thanx a lot ! hello helloooooo

I have installed Haiku on a Thinkpad X301, works great

Hello! And welcome!!

Welcome welcome! I’m a newbie here too, with Haiku installed to a 12 year old Thinkpad X230 since last Saturday.

I’m learning to use the native Mail app on Haiku at the moment, although it might be easier to install a more ‘normal’ mail app. It’s a bit of a challenge as the Mail app makes use of Haiku’s filesystem-as-a-database design, but it’s good to have something to try to work out while reading the user guide!

Hello all !

yes Haiku works fine and better than a debian 12 with lxqt !
I go see further to make thunderbird fork work fine with an email adress which does give me troubles (gmx with strong security but the tutorial is present on the net) and then discover this new world

Shell commands seem to be different from Gnu Linux and curl doesn’t exist for example.

Regards to all of you, i go to love it ! Haiku rulez ^^

Some commands are indeed different but curl does exist. Actually, it is even used by Haiku webkit so the package should be installed already.
