awww, I was looking forward to the next VPC image. I don’t really think people were expecting stability just yet. It just provides a nice way of seeing whats changed and kick the tires.

I think the “admin” decision was to prevent less-technical people from hunting down the images and trying them out only to be disappointed and criticize the project.
On the other hand, one could argue that even bad press is a good thing
Well imo it would be rather debateable if less-technical people would be even interested let alone capable of running a hard drive image. If anyone were to criticize the project I think the joke would be on them as everyone knows haiku is still at an alpha stage (correct me if I’m wrong).
it would be nice if you would provide for upcoming images just patches as those make much less traffic Of course as long as the number of people ready to patch is much higher than people ready to download full image :twisted:
