Ahoy haikunauts,

Are there anyone else who experiance the repo checksum error

like THIS ?

First two attempts just only my updater commandline in a shell script - at first a pkgman refresh called - this way I iterated that part as third one to make sure for others really this command fails.

Yes…the error this morning too. I figure they are doing some sort of update or maintenance. I am going check again tomorrow…if needed, report an issue with the HaikuPorts folks.

@KitsunePrefecture: Just a note… not sure what your chk_pkgs.sh script does, but pkgman update already performs a “refresh”. No need to call pkgman refresh before using pkgman update.

Even pkgman install does a refresh (unless you use the new --no-refresh parameter found on nightlies).

Yepp, I know …
I just call refresh first , as then update won’t run … if any repos fails :stuck_out_tongue:

At some other earlier discussions I shared the script and its content … there’s no secret –

Same error here all day. can’t update haikuports.
Haiku repo is fine.

Hi, new user here, just wanted to report that I have the same problem.

Not used to Haiku terminal but tried to manually reinstall and update it and seems the issue is located at a missing file at the repo (64 bytes).

Hope it helps… thank you.

Fixed now, it was probably just that the updating process was interrupted before it’d been properly completed.
