in the right top of haikudepot window , there a connection possibility .
Is it necessary for access to programs , or reserved to another things ?

You can access programs without that connection.
It’s to create an account at the HaikuDepot Server and logging in.
It’s needed to rate and comment on packages, see also the user guide.
It’d be really appreciated if more users would do so, but a regression makes it currently impossible…
