Have a problem today with HaikuDepot. Am attaching a screenshot of the error. I did create an account and perhaps it was after that when the error appeared. I logged off and the error is the same. Also deleted the settings for the app in config but that did not work. Thanks in advance.
Did you tried to view the HaikuDepot diagnostic logs
, as suggested by this alert message ?
If you can share them here, we could see if it’s a defect or something else.
Did run the app from the terminal with the -v option. Can’t post it here within the message because I get this when trying to reply:

When in need to share info like textual report or sample files triggering a defact, the best is to go on Haiku issues tracker, sign up if needed, and open a new ticket. There you can attach files.
Gave up on this and reinstalled from scratch. That solved the problem with HaikuDepot! Alas, but Haiku has SO many problems. For example: Beam can’t even delete an email. Difficult to configure. Other apps crash, some contunually which makes the unusable.
Went to the Haiku issues tracker as you suggested. Forget it. It is so difficult for a user to post anything there.
Perhaps in another 25 years Haiku may be usable. It’s hasta la vista baby for me.
Hello @kilomike ; Thanks for raising the issue. I assume you no longer have the environment where the problem was happening? 
It looks like something has gone wrong with the package solver. I can see where it is happening in the code but it’s not clear why. It would have been good to try the pkgman on the command line to see if it also encountered an issue and/or had any other logging.
If you do end up trying again and hit this, loop back here.
Kind of harsh to blame us for third party apps
