Haiku Store: Women's Style Shirts?

Hi every one! I’ve been checking out the Haiku Store, & I’m really hoping to get some gear at least by mid-February next year.

I was wondering: Is there a reason that there aren’t any women’s styles (shirts) available? Is it possible for there to be just a few designs?

(e.g. a tank top/camisole, short-sleeved shirt with a different, more feminine design, and/or a nice long sleeve that might be more flattering to gals… Maybe there is a way to make the current shirt designs work, so the overall look doesn’t lack a feminine flair to it? ??? ~lol~ Don’t get me wrong. I usually rock a plain/casual look of a shirt + jeans; it’s just that sometimes I want something that’s just a tad more girly. ^_^)

I checked http://www.haiku-os.org/about/trademark_policy & it says there are guidelines for creating T-shirts & other Haiku memorabilia, but the link is broken.

For the fitted cotton shirt, I was thinking something along the lines of the design in the picture at http://www.onehanesplace.com/product/21334.html?cgnbr=7021000000 .

It’s just a thought. What do you think?

We do have the ability to add more products to our store based on what cafepress offers. If you look here, you can get an idea of the different shirt styles that cafepress provides for their stores:

If you have a specific shirt style there you like, let me know and I’ll see about adding it to our store. We’re open to suggestions

As for trademark guidelines for creating your own apparel, I’m pretty certain we would have to prevent unauthorized production of merchandise for sale using Haiku’s trademarks. I will try to find out what happened to that broken link on the trademark policy page, as I don’t recall what was written on it previously.

Oh okay. Thank you for your kind response. m(_ _)m

These look pretty cool:

I am pretty sure we had few years ago Walter thongs available

Finally, I took the plunge and got some Haiku gear! I’m SO very happy! I can’t wait for the items to come in the mail! I hope everything fits! (Sorry for the attack of the exclamation points; I’m just pretty excited… hehe)

Shipping wasn’t too too bad to the Virgin Islands, which was impressive–um, no wait: just plain amazing.

I see the store has gone through some changes (and the logo has changed also). :o Well, that’s okay. (I loved that blue leaf, though.) I’m sorry I couldn’t get the things last year when I wanted especially due to the changes. (I was sick again for months, but this time I managed to find a doctor, who could finally tell me what was wrong and prescribe the proper medicine.)

It’s hurricane season now, and I’ll just hope I get my package before anything serious develops.

I would also like to see clothing for women in the Haiku store. There isn’t anything there now. More colour choices would also be good. Oh and you should probably update the Haiku CD, it’s Alpha 1!

Heya! I just wanted to say that I love the Haiku store! The Haiku Stein is awesome! (I had to hide them away from my mother because she looked like she wanted to make off with it!)
The only thing that I would say to anyone who buys one is to make sure to rinse it out thoroughly after you use it or wash it immmediately.

Mine stained (tea), & I was unable to remove it. It’s sort of weird. I tried bleach & I tried peroxide at separate times. I scrubbed the inside of the mug with the dish rag, just in case it was something I missed & it just didn’t come out at all. I have another stein I haven’t used yet, so the stain isn’t a big deal. I just can’t see what I would be doing wrong; I’ve managed to remove stains from other mugs effortlessly.

The T-shirts are great as well! To avoid a baggy look (since I’m a gal), I bought a size smaller than I normally wear, after using the size chart & taking into account the fit. For example, in an organic tee (fitted), I was in between a medium & large, so I went with medium, which is exact but still has room. In the colored shirts, since the fit is standard, I was daring & went with small, which is a little exact, but that’s okay, since I’ll be slimming down soon any way. (Medium would have worked well there to have more room.) Shirts still fit well after washing, so there’s no need to fear shrinkage.

That’s the way I got a flattering look. Easy.
