Haiku R1/beta1 in Vagrant | Haiku Project

Over the last year, I have been slowly pushing patches upstream to Vagrant introducing native Haiku support. Vagrant is an open-source tool to build and maintain portable virtual development environments. Essentially, Vagrant lets you deploy and rapidly customize a Haiku virtual machine with programatic scripts.

Nice! Though a pity to have “haiku-os” instead of “haiku”.

Yeah, I pushed for “haiku”, (it’s being used by an individual), but heard from vagrant they are strictly “first come first served”. Too bad. If we can ever convince the owner (who doesn’t seem to use the account at all) to change names, we could take it… but I have zero contact info for him.

Actually I just found him via a reverse image search… i’ll try reaching out.
