Just curious…Webpositive displays blank for Devanagari characters…no native support for Devanagari characters…Then why should the transaltions be done in pootle? Anyhow it cannot be used..
For those languages / scripts that do not yet have a full native support, translations can be stopped and efforts can be better utilized

Better to offer Haiku in those languages that have their keymaps supported, natively (under Keymap switcher…)
Some people asked for the language to be created on Pootle so they can work on the translation.
Why should we stop them? Why would we tell them to do something else? I think they are well aware of the limitation if they use Haiku. Probably they are not developers who feel they can implement the complex text rendering themselves. Yet, they care about their language to be supported. What else could they do in that situation?
When someone finally implements Devanagari support (“complex text rendering”), their work will be useful.
