Extrowerk and others are busy porting things already. If you want the things you request, you’ll get them sooner by helping. Dig into HaikuPorts and HaikuPorter. There is a small learning curve, but it’s not too bad. Start by git cloning HaikuPorts and HaikuPorter. Follow the included docs and raise an issue in the appropriate tree on GitHub if you run into an issue.
Or instead porting “all the stuff”, you can write new things like Kapix, Humdinger, Pulko Mandy, and many other folks (sorry, my memory isnt that good after 3 beers).
I do just small adjustments, do not overestimate my work, thanks.
