HDD is just a device, not boot loading one. Just Haiku freezing on the loading logo until I disconnect the disk from power.

¤ regarding your hardware
¤ your issue with this ATA storage drive is an installing problem (Haiku is still not installed) and you would install Haiku onto that drive
or
a boot issue (Haiku already installed on the affected reported machine onto another drive and this ATA drive blocks somehow the booting
¤ also not provided the Haiku version you would install/boot on that specific machine you have
This way you have no answer yet, as it cannot be … lacking the truly meaning details.
First you need to tell what manufacturer of the ATA controller because not all of ATA Controllers are standard for example those JMicron ATA Controllers of those VIA.
