Thanks for all these efforts !

Actually I have a question too :

– When we can get the USB related fixes and improvements into Beta4 branch ?

We may consider it after a few days or weeks in the main branch if no problems appears and if it’s reasonably easy to backport.

Thanks for your reply - it’s very good.
I asked because I have a USB disk (harddrive) attached and also my boot device is a USB thumbdrive.
Actually I have no direct problembs related to - at least I do not connect some stucks to it (I mean I do not create each time a ticket about it to investigate my cases) but I would try out these fixes/improvements as USB is used heavily in my config this way.
My other hints are out of memory at some Haiku freeze/slowness (others shared also such strange freeze withoujt KDL in another thread ) as I’m still on 32 bit Haiku on 64 bit system with 32 GB.
I use Webpositive (Haiku related mostly) and Web (YT, social media and sites with adblock required) parallel for web activities and both have many processes and for my surprise CPU is not heavily used but memory and swap - unfortunately I use a USB 2.0 thumbdrive for the OS … this way swap usage is also USB related, so memory problems can come from here, isn’t it ?
