I am Krishna, a sophomore studying computer science. I have recently started exploring operating systems and absolutely love it. I want to contribute to Haiku and gain some real-world experience because I find OS development fascinating. I have some experience with C & C++ and am actively improving my skills. While I am still in the learning phase, I am eager to take on challenges and contribute in any way I can.
I would appreciate any guidance on how to get started—beginner-friendly issues, essential documentation, or any other helpful resources. Looking forward to collaborating with the community!

Also just as a reminder: we don’t know yet if Haiku will be selected for Google Summer of Code this year (there is a selection process for us as well). This year they said they would be targetting projects related to AI/Machine Learning and Security in priority, because a lot of the GSoC participants want to work in these fields. So we’ll see how our traditional and boring (in Google’s opinions) operating system ideas go
