Haiku usually feels more responsive than Linux, especially on slow/old hardware.
Firefox and Thunderbird are both available on Haiku, not with their official branding but the features are exactly the same, try Iceweasel and Icedove.
Note that Firefox is rather demanding on hardware,so Haikus native WebPositive browser will probably work better in your case, just give it a try,you can always switch between them as needed.
So then i wonโt have the time this weekend but Haiku is installed on my tiny laptop but i have no Wi-Fi card recognized. is it possible by Ethernet to update the system and get the Wi-Fi firmware sort ?
It would be so cool !
Have wonderful evening
Edit: ok it seems to be an acer one 722, do you know this model ? Would it be possible to get Wi-Fi connection with ? thanx a lot ! I go see this all on Monday
Edit 2 i am back ^^ : so i looked at the forum and it seems i have to buy another tiny wifi card to put it in my tiny laptop. cool i wait for more from you to know ^^ thx a regards
Intel Wifi generally works quite good on Haiku, except in some rare cases when it doesnโt.
Thereโs no safe way to say if it will work without trying, but changes are good Iโd say.
