Trying to boot the memstick in various ways, including safe mode, safe video and lower resolutions, 64 bit nightlies or Beta 1. The furthest I can get is the blue desktop screen (no icons or desk bar) with a hand cursor. The mouse wont move and nothing else happens. Machine is a Thinkpad X1 Carbon gen 5, i7 7600U. Any ideas? Ive tried so many times and multiple nightly builds. The machine is set to Legacy mode in the BIOS (UEFI gets stuck before even the kernel icon lights up on the boot screen).
Did you get to the point to access current log file?
Try booting from USB instead of memstick. What options did you use to get to the blue desktop? Can you press Ctrl+Alt+Del there to open Team monitor and see if you can start Tracker from there? If not, try dropping to KDL and issuing syslog | tail 50
