Several people including myself are experiencing the issue. It’s appears to be due to the ACPI related changes in hrev59869 by the look of it.

hrev59873 deliver the solution - in this night (CET) the new Haiku version is already building.

“pkgman update” in terminal works now to get 64bit Haiku nightly hrev59886 but softwareUpdater is not working correct atm, so be careful!

~Yepp, Softwareupdater does not work well for Haikuports repo, but not alone !.. Softwareupdater and pkgman wants to downgrade several packages, instead of upgrading – for me.If you do not check the new version numbers … you may think it works as expected.~
Hmm .. Now, when I wanted to put an evidence here …seems it was fixed meanwhile .. for pkgman, at least works as expected

That’s another issue than which was in your title.
As it was solved - the title was changed as FIXED. Then it should be used again if the same issue iterated against the fix.
If you have a new issue you would ask for - you may create another post about your new problem - that is more fortunate. :))
