File system and init program

Hi all, i have just two questions: what is the file system and what is the init program (i hope is not systemd). Thank you and have a nice day!

Hi dave68,

thanks for your Question. the Filesystem Haiku uses ist the Be ´Filesystem


Its a own Filesystem develope from BeOS.
(one feature - attributes - are demonstrated with the people software… you can creat contacts
and then see them in the Tracker as attributes)

And for Init … its not using systemd its using it own pice of software the launch_deamon
