Hi Guys,
My laptop is rapidly nearing daily driver status with Haiku. Syncthing is a great app that allow mesh style file syncing between two more more computers. I use it by having a “master” syncthing on my server and syncing each machine to the folders that I need. You can of course sync just between any two machines. I use it for all my Linux machines, even windoze.
If Syncthing is ported to Haiku then all I need is a VSCode clone and I can do some work from home (As VNC and Tailscale now work great with Sotoportego )

The most straightforward way is probably via GitHub - basiliscos/syncspirit: continuous file synchronization program (BEP protocol implementation) · GitHub as it is already a c++ library. It’s on my list, but down around 4th on it right now.
Great, so it is fully compatible with syncthing?
I think so, yes. Ideally the haiku application built around the library would have a GUI showing all the normal Syncthing status info, and then a desk bar status icon.
Hi, is it getting closer to floating to the top of your list ..
