EU - Hitlers third reich

It’s very unfortunate for me to inform that the European Union decided to do what it was founded to protect against. The DAta retention law is a dream that Hitler would’ve loved see come true and which has now, against all democracy in the world, become a fact.

Therefor, due to this new law, I will definitely loose bandwidth and processing power as my main aim is I2P and FreeNet. I don’t really care what get sent through my computer, as long as democracy lives on, and I’m sorry to say, it is not something we can take for granted any longer.

I’m sure many understands me, and I’m sure many think I’m a conspiratoric madman, and I don’t really care. Free speech is the most important thing for all human beings alive. That is where my main CPU+bandwidth power goes and will go, until law changes.

However, I will still keep producing for SB17, just that I’m confident my power will decrease.

for more info, Google for I2p+ FreeNet.

Depending on where you live, the new EU standardised data retention laws are laxer than those that were in place - and never enforced. My previous ISP, who I’m not going to name here, admitted they didn’t even have the tech in place to come close to the old Irish laws wrt: ISP’s data retention. Doubt theres going to be much difference now

Additionally, I can’t see the Fourth Reich lasting much longer, its not like they’re ever going to get that constitution past the Irish, French or Dutch voters - and the government of Ireland at least are not capable of passing it without a referendum, dunno about anywhere else.

I live in Sweden my friend, as you know, we have the socialist party (which BTW has been in power for 72 of the last 78 years). Sweden was one of the driving forces. The reason why Sweden supported it was to stop horrendous acts of terrorism, such as file sharing.

Can’t support that I’m afraid, so will open my tunnels for Freenet and I2P =)
