Any USB HID joystick or gamepad should work out of the box already.
I’ll add it to the haiku-pending test list.
Doubt the “ootb” a little on the DS4 because it might require (de)syncing with the console like when you swap it with a PsTV, but i expect it to work on the Arcade Stick then 
What is a HID joystick?
HID (Human Interface Device) is the standard for USB input devices: keyboard, mouses, joysticks, etc. This means we write a single driver for keyboard, mouses and joysticks, and everything works.
