Greetings!
I’m new to Haiku, and I found it’s quite fascinating OS for fast computing.
But it seems there are no Korean translation available, and on the Pootle site, last activity was almost 3 years ago.
I want to contribute and spread Haiku’s charm into fellow Koreans.
So, does Korean translation team is still in active?

Welcome kamome74!
I haven’t seen Korean activity for a long time… Good luck rekindling it!

That’s bit sad for me.
Then, is there any way to submit Korean translation onto next release?
Translation guide says that it needs LM’s approval.
As mentioned on the i18n mailing list meanwhile, we can promote you to Languge Manager if the current guys spring into action soon.
You can already start translating and simply make those as “suggestions”, and once you become LM (or other LMs are back) quickly “submit” them.
There hsa been no activity on the Korean translations since beta 1 at least (it has been in every message I have sent asking for help in social media before each release since). I think it is fair to assume that the existing team is gone.
The Korean translation already has a few hundred suggestions waiting to be approved.
Alright, I fast-tracked the promotion…
Congratulations, @kamome74, you’re our new Korean Language Manager!
