Does Haiku have anything like the old BeOS Device Compatibility Matrix, where users can list computer components, organized in different categories, as being not supported, partially supported, or fully supported? Maybe “fully” can also be divided into driver comes standard with the OS distro, or requires a download.
Thank you. It’s a start. But as I feared, Audio info very limited and MIDI support is not existent. Are people actively using the BeSly tool? Because it seems like that is the only way the database gets updated? The old Matrix was user submittable/editable somehow on the site, featured, I want to say, Green, Yellow, Red color coding, and as you can tell from the Red coding, included both devices confirmed to work, but also devices confirmed not to work. Which I think is very important for users.
