Delaying /boot/home/config/settings/boot/launch/*

I’d like to auto launch MediaPlayer at startup.
I dragged the MediaPlayer icon to /boot/home/config/settings/boot/launch but after restart of the system I got message window saying the media server isn’t run and asking if I’d like to run it now. I choose Run and then the MediaPlayer starts up.
How to avoid this?

I can see there is /boot/home/config/settings/boot/UserBootscript text file.

It says:

DO NOT EDIT!

#=====================================================================

Start programs and open files in the boot launch folder

for file in “$HOME”/config/settings/boot/launch/*
do
[ -e “$file” ] && /bin/open “$file” &
done

But maybe I can add a kind of “delay” or “wait” commad to make apps in launch/ wait for various system servers?

There’s the waitfor command that can wait for a specific thread etc.
