Connecting to a WPA2-Enterprise network

Hello,

I am having difficulty with connecting to a WPA2-Enterprise network. I’m aware of wpa_supplicant and its config file syntax but I cannot figure out how to actually apply it under Haiku. I tried my best to find relevant documentation but nothing seemed particularly suited to this problem. Despite being POSIX-compliant, Haiku’s internals are still so beautifully alien to me…

Would anybody care to spoonfeed a rookie? Thank you very much if you can.

I’m not sure what the status of it but there’s an open ticket about WPA Enterprise support.

Hi there zmac, As you can see in the ticket starcrasher linked this requires changes in atleast wpa_supplicant, possible also the netserver. I had rebased kallisti5’s patches previously and expanded upon them, but at the time there was nobody to test the patches. Feel free to test the current patchset and report back, if it does not apply I will have to take a look at it again.

I think my Unifi access point supports WPA2-Enterprise, I can help test.
