Compatible ethernet PCI card?

Can anyone recommend a PCI ethernet NIC that is Haiku compatible?

Really, where can I find a list of supported hardware?

A few community hardware compatibility databases have come and gone over the years.

The FAQ addresses questions on compatible hardware:

Yes, this is a good start:

Hi luick,

I have the same RTL LAN card and it works with no problems. There has to be another reason for your failure to connect. Maybe try “static” instead of “DHCP” to receive your IP address? Or maybe some needed proxy setting? I’m not sure how much proxy support there is under Haiku…

listimage | grep rtl81xx in Terminal will show if the driver has been loaded.

Work fine

@kim1963: That this RTL network controller is working, has been established with your first post in December 2016 and my post from today confirmed that. Furthermore, your screenshot shows not the LAN working, but your wifi.

@kim1963, would you please stop adding full screenshots of your entire Desktop to about every one of your posts? They almost never add value to the discussion, and you barely ever utter a half sentence to explain why you consider them helpful.
