I have a Brother MFC-420CN, that only works with Windows or MacOS X 10.2 or better. It can connect through either USB or network. However, there aren’t any drivers in BeOS that work with it. The only thing I got that made the printer say “Receiving Data” was a PostScript driver. Perhaps a driver for Brother printers/scanners/fax machines/etc… should be made. If you need any technical info, just ask (and maybe tell me how to get it from the printer through its network port). I can also make the Windows and MacOS drivers available on BeShare.
