New to both the forum and Haiku but excited to be here. I’ve been attempting to install Haiku directly onto my MacBook 4,1 via USB, but this is as far as I get. The system is running in the live environment; but as you can see it’s basically impossible to progress. I assume it’s something to do with tht weird Intel GPU these laptops used; is there some way around this or is it a lost cause? Thanks in advance!

Hello there @TheClownster and welcome
Macs are notoriously difficult to load anything but MacOS on to, but your first step here is to follow these instructions to reach the boot menu, and then set the graphics to “Failsafe Mode”, which is Haiku-speak for VESA.
If that works, then there’s a file you can edit to make the change permanent. But let’s take this one step at a time.
